I'm telling everyone who will listen about the great experience I had at Monkey Wrenches. I had been sequestered due to the pandemic so my car wasn't driven nor serviced for more than a year. We were 3 away days from driving to LA for a special occasion. Monkey Wrenches did a pre-trip Preventative Maintenance Inspection on Wednesday, counseled me on the value and importance of the repairs, got the parts, made repairs by Friday morning, had new tires on Friday at noon, headed out in my smoothly running and safe classic 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder on Saturday. Everything has been running great since that September 22, 2001 visit to Monkey Wrenches.

After being charged for 3 different system diagnosis checks, and feeling ripped off at a clip of $170 for each diagnosis, when I could finally afford the recommended work I took it elsewhere. I had the mechanic do the exact things MW recommended and test drove the car. 2 out of 3 of MW’s recommended diagnosis’ were wrong. Now I’m out the money for 2 of three diagnostic checks, plus the $900 for the repairs to the false diagnosed issues, I’ll also have to pay for the actual correct repair costs and parts. MW are a bunch of scammers who only care about gouging ppl pockets. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO THESE CROOKS!!!
